Brand new London-based experimental-pop duo Balming Evie have surfaced with an accomplished debut single 'Broken Records'. Sonically rich and layered, the well-produced piece feels reminiscent of Animal Collective's masterful Merriweather Post Pavillion but with more bounce. Providing some lyrical insight, one half of the band, Karl Jawara, said: "‘Broken Records’ is about the slipperyslope of reliving past memories. You get lost in them, obsess over them, replay them, start totweak the details, and before long you can’t tell what actually happened and what you madeup.
